You shouldn't have to re-explain yourself every time you open a new chat. Trio Mate handles this with Enterprise Knowledge and Personal Memory.
Enterprise Knowledge: Shared team materials
- What it is: Company policies, product docs, and guidelines uploaded by your organization administrator.
- How it works: When you work in an organization, keep the "Enterprise Knowledge" toggle switched on. The assistant references materials granted to your team.
- Protected access: You only access files authorized for your department; restricted company data stays private.
Personal Memory: An assistant that learns your habits
- What it is: The assistant naturally remembers your preferences (e.g., "Prefers bulleted summaries", "Currently managing Project X").
- Enable or pause: Use the Memory switch under Settings → Account. Turning it off stops personal Memory reads and automatic extraction without deleting retained data, disabling enterprise knowledge, or clearing conversations. The setting stays on this device for the current account and organization.
- Correct or forget: Identify a specific fact in conversation. The assistant locates the excerpt and presents the change in a native confirmation dialog. Cancelling leaves it unchanged; selective forgetting covers the confirmed text, not every synonymous statement.
- Clear this identity: The same Settings → Account card lets you clear the current identity's personal Memory, including while Memory is disabled. Other identities, enterprise knowledge, and conversations are unaffected. Incomplete cache cleanup is shown with a retry action rather than reported as fully complete.
Synchronization across devices
Devices in the same trusted deployment, account, and organization synchronize personal facts. The enable setting and hot summaries remain local. Only one device organizes Memory at a time; others wait and then use the latest service snapshot. There is no device-version selection step.
Offline devices do not create authoritative snapshots to merge later. Requests with an unknown outcome retain their original operation for reconciliation. A change confirmed not to have committed remains marked as requiring fresh organization or confirmation, not as synchronized. Offline devices apply clears or corrections after reconnecting; information already sent to a model, displayed in past answers, or exported cannot be recalled.
