Every task starts with a regular conversation. You don't need programming skills or artificial prompt templates — just describe what you want done.
1 · How to get great results
- Describe the outcome, not the mechanics: Say "Analyze last month's sales in the attachment and highlight the top 3 declining categories" rather than giving step-by-step instructions.
- Follow up naturally: If an answer needs tweaking, just reply: "Make it shorter", "Format as a table", or "Add percentage change".
- Let it clarify: If essential details are missing, the assistant will show clickable options so you can guide it with a quick click.
2 · Useful input tools
- Attach files (
+menu): Click the+button next to the input box to attach spreadsheets, PDFs, Word docs, or images — or simply drag and drop them in. - Pick an Agent: If a task requires domain expertise (like legal contract review), click
+→ "Select Agent". Note: To keep the conversation consistent, agents cannot be switched mid-chat. - Trigger Skills (
/): Type/in the text field or choose+→ "Select Skill" to equip specific utilities like OCR or web scraping. - Choose a Workspace: Select the active directory above the input box to point the assistant to the right files.
3 · Tracking progress & safe rollback
When working through complex tasks, the interface keeps you in full control:
- Thinking Trace: Expand the reasoning section to see how the assistant breaks down the problem.
- Tool Invocations: Clearly see which files were opened or which commands were executed.
- Stop Button: Click the red stop button anytime to halt generation.
- File Rollback: If an edit doesn't look right, click "Restore files to this point" on that message bubble to safely undo local file changes.
