What does AI governance mean in Trio Mate?
It means defining what AI can access and execute, when it must ask for approval, where it runs, and what gets recorded for later review.
How are team knowledge and Personal Memory different?
Team knowledge belongs to organization-scoped spaces with explicit grants. Personal Memory is identity- and project-scoped, and is not treated as company policy.
What happens when a source changes?
Context reads are version-checked. A changed reference must be resolved again, and a compiled Wiki page can become stale and navigation-only until its sources are refreshed.
Can an organization control capabilities?
Yes. Admins can enable or disable catalog capabilities, pin versions, assign them to departments, apply configuration overrides, and inspect effective access.
Can personal memory be corrected or forgotten?
Yes. A correction or forget action targets an exact fact and version, requires confirmation, and returns a committed or cleanup-pending governance receipt with a context reset.
What appears in the audit trail?
Depending on the event, reviewers can see the actor, operation, risk, target, execution profile, decision, result status, and redacted parameter details.
Which deployment options are available?
Trio Mate supports cloud deployment, Hong Kong-based infrastructure, and private deployment planning for stricter data or compliance requirements.
Do teams need their own model API keys?
Most teams do not. Trio provides model access, compute, and orchestration. Dedicated models or custom infrastructure can be planned for special requirements.

Quick answers to common questions about Trio Mate.
1. Why can't I switch Agents mid-conversation?
To preserve consistent context, guidelines, and tone. Each agent has specific behaviors; switching half-way through a thread would confuse the reasoning. To use another specialist, simply press Cmd/Ctrl + N to start a new chat.
2. What if the assistant made unintended changes to my files?
Don't worry! Next to each assistant response bubble, there is a "Restore files to this point" button. Click it to immediately restore your local files to their state before that turn.
3. Why isn't Enterprise Knowledge returning any results?
Check three things:
- Ensure the lower-left account menu is switched to Team/Organization, not Personal.
- Ensure the "Enterprise Knowledge" toggle near the chat input is turned on.
- Confirm with your admin that the relevant knowledge space has been granted to your department.
4. What if a task hangs or gets stuck?
Click the red square "Stop" button next to the input box at any time to halt generation immediately.
5. Are my local files used to train public AI models?
No. Trio Mate adheres to strict enterprise privacy standards. Your local workspace files are processed solely to fulfill your requested task and are never used to train public models.
6. What if I don't have an account or can't sign in?
Your organization administrator provisions Trio Mate accounts and configures sign-in. If you don't have an account or can't complete sign-in, contact your organization's IT administrator.
